Objectives

The camp aimed to register migrant workers under the Ayushman Bharat Health Account (ABHA Card), promote the use of the DBMS App for healthcare and welfare information, and ensure digital inclusion of migrant workers so they could access health and welfare services more effectively.

Participation

A total of 40 migrant workers participated in the camp, and all participants successfully registered for both ABHA Cards and the DBMS App.

Key Highlights

The camp was conducted with careful planning and coordination. Onsite registration counters were set up to ensure smooth facilitation, allowing workers to register efficiently without delays. DBMS staff and volunteers provided step-by-step guidance to each participant, making the registration process easy and understandable. In addition to registration, the session focused on creating awareness among migrant workers about the importance of maintaining digital health records, emphasizing how these tools could improve their access to healthcare and welfare services.

Outcomes

By the end of the camp, all 40 migrant workers had received their digital health IDs, enabling them to access healthcare services more effectively. The initiative also increased awareness of the DBMS App as a reliable platform for welfare information and health updates. Moreover, the collaboration between DBMS, the Theological Brothers, and the URC HR team was strengthened, demonstrating the impact of coordinated NGO–corporate efforts in reaching and empowering vulnerable communities. The camp successfully achieved its objectives of digital inclusion and welfare awareness, leaving participants better informed and equipped to utilize these services.

Conclusion

The camp empowered 40 migrant workers with digital health access and tools for welfare information. It highlighted the importance of partnerships between NGOs and corporate site management in extending support to migrant communities and ensuring that critical health and welfare resources are accessible to all.
