Report on Awareness Program on Hygienic Issues and Workplace Injuries

On 15th March 2025, an important awareness program on hygienic issues and workplace injuries was successfully conducted at the VBW Chamber in Puduvoyal. The event aimed to educate and inform workers about the significance of maintaining hygiene at the workplace and the precautions that can be taken to avoid injuries. A total of 130 participants attended, showing great enthusiasm to learn and discuss these crucial topics.

The program was organized by Don Bosco Migrant Services, with support from Mr. Uttam, Mr. Raju, and the owner of the VBW Chamber. The session aimed to enhance workers' understanding of potential health hazards they may face in their daily work environment and provided practical solutions to mitigate these concerns. The attendees expressed appreciation for the efforts of the organizing team, particularly for Don Bosco Migrant Services role in facilitating the event and offering support to workers in various ways.

While the event did not have a formal chief guest, the presence of representatives from Don Bosco Migrant Services and the Chamber owner contributed to the session's credibility. The collaborative efforts of everyone involved ensured the program's success. Workers expressed their gratitude for the valuable information shared and were particularly pleased with the continued support from Don Bosco NGO, which assists them in various capacities beyond this event.

The initiative was well-received by the participants, who left with a heightened awareness of the importance of maintaining workplace hygiene and reducing the risks associated with injuries. Backed by DBMS and the Chamber owner, this event is one of many designed to improve the safety and well-being of local workers.
