In a spirit of hope, commitment, and renewed dedication to the young, Don Bosco Migrant Services (DBMS) joyfully inaugurated the CLIMB – Creating Learning, Inclusion & Motivation for Brighter Futures Learning Unit at Don Bosco Kavaraipettai. The inauguration was meaningfully aligned with the commemoration of the day on which St. John Bosco began his mission for the young, making the occasion both symbolic and inspiring.

The newly established CLIMB Learning Unit is envisioned as a nurturing space that responds to the educational and developmental needs of migrant children. Through structured academic support, practical learning activities, and interactive sessions, the programme aims to strengthen foundational learning, encourage curiosity, and foster confidence among children who often face educational disruptions due to migration. The initiative seeks not only to support academic growth but also to promote holistic development by creating a safe, inclusive, and child-friendly learning environment.

Special care was taken to ensure the well-being of every child participating in the programme. Nutritious meals and refreshments were provided, enabling the children to engage actively and joyfully in the learning process. This gesture reflected DBMS’s commitment to upholding the dignity, health, and overall well-being of each child, recognizing that learning flourishes best when basic needs are met with care and compassion.

The successful inauguration of the CLIMB Learning Unit was made possible through the generous support and collaboration of Don Bosco Anbu Illam, Kavaraipettai. Their partnership and encouragement played a vital role in bringing this meaningful initiative to life. The event marked not only the beginning of an educational programme but also a renewed commitment to shaping brighter futures for migrant children through care, inclusion, and empowerment.
