Objective:
To provide accessible healthcare services directly to migrant workers, promoting early detection, preventive care, and health awareness.
Event Highlights:
Health Check-ups:
* Conducted basic medical examinations for all 102 participants.
* Vital parameters such as blood pressure, blood sugar, and general health were assessed.
Basic Treatment & Medication:
* Minor ailments were treated on-site.
* Participants received essential medicines to address common health concerns.
Health Counselling & Awareness:
* Counselling sessions emphasized hygiene, nutrition, and preventive healthcare.
* Workers were guided on when and where to seek further medical care.
Key Outcomes:
* Healthcare services were delivered at the workers’ living site, increasing accessibility and convenience.
* Early detection of minor health issues helped prevent complications.
* Participants became more aware of personal health and wellness practices.
Conclusion:
The Free Medical Camp at Kumaran Nagar successfully reached 102 migrant workers, offering them essential healthcare services and health education. Such initiatives strengthen the well-being of migrant communities and foster a proactive approach to health.
