Program Overview:
On 31st August 2025, Don Bosco Migrant Services conducted a combined awareness and digital registration program at the URC construction site in Adyar, Chennai. The initiative aimed to educate migrant workers about substance abuse, promote digital health access, and familiarize participants with the DBMS app.

Drugs Awareness Session:
The session opened with an engaging discussion on the risks and consequences of drug and substance abuse. Participants were provided practical guidance on healthy coping strategies, personal well-being, and available support services, fostering a sense of awareness and responsibility.

ABHA Card & DBMS App Registration:
Following the awareness session, staff assisted 43 participants in registering for ABHA Health IDs and enrolling on the DBMS app. Guidance was provided step-by-step to ensure digital literacy and access to health services, welfare benefits, and emergency support.

Key Outcomes:

* Participants gained awareness of substance abuse prevention.

* Successful registration for ABHA cards and DBMS app enabled access to digital health services.

* Enhanced engagement and trust between DBMS staff and migrant workers.

Conclusion:

The program effectively combined health awareness and digital empowerment, strengthening the capacity of migrant workers to access healthcare, welfare services, and DBMS support while promoting substance-free living.
