From 15th to 18th September 2025, Don Bosco Migrant Services (DBMS) extended its support to the sports events organized by the Zeme Bau community and the Kuki Students’ Organization at St. Bede’s Playground. The four-day tournament created a lively and inclusive space where migrant youth and local communities could come together to celebrate unity and camaraderie through sports.

The competitions featured football, volleyball, and several individual games, drawing the participation of over 20 teams. Players displayed enthusiasm, discipline, and teamwork, while the cheering crowds added to the festive spirit. The event was not only a platform for showcasing talent but also a reminder of how sports can build friendships, leadership, and resilience among young people.

In total, more than 600 people participated and witnessed the celebrations, turning the playground into a hub of energy and cultural exchange. The collaboration between Don Bosco Migrant Services and the community organizers highlighted the role of sports in strengthening community ties and promoting the values of participation, inclusivity, and mutual respect.
