Programme Overview
Don Bosco Migrant Services (DBMS) organized an awareness and registration programme on 13 December 2025 at Vadamangalam SSP Company to educate migrant workers about essential government welfare schemes and digital support systems. The programme aimed to enhance awareness and accessibility of services that contribute to the social and economic security of migrant workers.

Focus on ABHA, e-Shram and DBMS App
The session focused on introducing participants to key initiatives such as the ABHA (Ayushman Bharat Health Account), e-Shram registration, and the DBMS mobile application. These platforms were explained in a simple and practical manner to help workers understand their importance in accessing healthcare benefits, employment-related support, and welfare services.

Participation and Registration Outcome
A total of 35 migrant workers actively participated in the programme. With the assistance of the DBMS team, 12 beneficiaries were successfully registered during the session. Participants showed keen interest and actively engaged by asking questions and seeking clarification regarding digital access and benefits.

Chief Guest and Institutional Support
The programme was graced by Mr. Chinna Rasu, HR Manager of RCCL Company, who attended as the Chief Guest. He appreciated the initiative taken by DBMS and emphasized the importance of awareness, documentation, and digital inclusion for migrant workers. His presence added encouragement and credibility to the programme.

Outcome and Impact
The programme significantly contributed to improving awareness among migrant workers about government welfare schemes and digital platforms. It strengthened their ability to access essential services and reflected DBMS’s continued commitment to empowering migrant communities through information, outreach, and inclusive support mechanisms.
