Introduction
On 1st March 2025, Don Bosco Migrant Services organized an Education Awareness Program at the SLGBW Chamber in Kavarapettai. The program was conducted with the aim of raising awareness about the importance of regular school attendance and encouraging both children and parents from migrant families to prioritize education. The event saw the participation of 70 children, and the focus was on fostering a sense of responsibility towards regular school attendance.
Objectives of the Program
The primary objectives of the Education Awareness Program were:
To emphasize the importance of regular school attendance for the academic success of children.
To encourage both parents and children from migrant families to take education seriously.
To recognize and reward consistent school attendance among the students.

A total of 70 children attended the program, with 55 of them being regular school attendees. The remaining 15 children were encouraged to improve their attendance and understand the value of attending school.
