Today we had Women empowerment day celebration with the Brick Kilns migrant women in Vairangkuppam, PVR chamber. Around 80 women were participated in the event. The event was started by 10:30am. The chief guest were Fr. Salomon Sdb, Fr. Pinto Sdb, Fr. Arockia Vincent Sdb. The program was started by Odia women empowerment awareness song, then I gave introduction then Cultural dance by puduvoyal school children, after that main chief guest Fr. Salomon Sdb gave talk on women empowerment. After that cultural dance by Mettupalayam students. After the dance Rajalaxmi Msw student gave talk on the importance of women sanitation services, such as private toilets or latrines in during the stay in the chambers, after that odia cultural dance by poduvoyal school. Then Silambam performance was done by tthe Loyola msw students. Then votes of thanks I gave and wind up the program with snacks.
