Jubilant celebration of Children’s Day
a jubilant celebration of Children’s Day took place in Mettupalayam, Tiruvallur. This significant event saw the active participation of children from various study centers including Mettupalayam, Anna Nagar, PonniyammanMedu, and Pananthoppu. The occasion was graced by the presence of the Assistant Director, Fr. Lourd, who attended as the chief guest, accompanied by two brothers. The event also received notable support from Mr. Macklin.
The children immersed themselves in a variety of competitive activities that encompassed handwriting, essay writing, speeches, and Thirukural recitation. These competitions not only stimulated their intellect but also fostered a spirit of healthy competition. All 100 children participating in the event were acknowledged with participation certificates and common prizes. Furthermore, the winners of the competitions were honored with special prizes and certificates, appreciating their commendable performance.
In addition to the children, the teachers and dance participants were also recognized for their efforts and contribution with tokens of appreciation. This was followed by an engaging icebreaking session facilitated by the brothers, which served to build camaraderie and lighten the atmosphere.
