Course on Migration for Poonamalee Deacons was held On 7.8.2023, conducted by DBMS as one-day course.

Started at 10 in the morning with the themes on 

1.Migration- Church Perspective – Fr. Lourdu.

2.Internal Migration- A Glance – Fr. Bosco

3.Issues and Challenges of Unorganised workers in Tamilnadu – Mr. Gopal

4.Interstate Migrant workers in Brick kilns and Constructions – Mr. Deepak

5.Interstate Migrant workers in Hospitality Sector – Mr. Augustine

6.Interstate Migrant workers in Manufacturing Sector – Fr. Roshan

Every session ended with the sharing of reflection, learnings and applications and encouraged deacons to reflect on what they’ve learned and how it applies to their lives. The floor was open to the seminarians after every session

At the end of of program, deacons thanked the DBMS for a great course, in which they’ve learned a lot and a meaningful course, in which they were fostering a sense of curiosity and empathy toward the topic of migration.
