An awareness program was conducted to the migrant workers in Mambakkam village on 22nd July 2023 at 5.00pm. Fr.Roshan, Mr. Kishore and three brothers from OMI congregation joined to give awareness about safe stay. Safety is very important for life, so in the work place one needs to use helmet, hand gloves, and other safety instruments for the safety and precaution from any diseases. A small introduction was given about the team belong to Don Bosco Migrants Service, Mambakkam.

The objective of Don Bosco Migrants service is to service for the most distressed migrants in Tamilnadu. Assurance was given to help the migrants if contact the team to sort out any issues related to health, salary, and locality. The meeting comprises about 50 -60 people. The migrants interacted well and shared the problems faced and living conditions of the livelihood. Even though the workers had to go for night shift, the hospitality and interaction was good. It made the team energetic about future programmes.
