Migrant women experienced a cardiac arrest and passed away

we sadly report that one of the migrant women experienced a cardiac arrest and passed away. She was admitted to Sabita hospital where her death was confirmed. Subsequently, her body was transferred to Sriperumbudur Government Hospital. Unfortunately, the victim’s husband and other migrant workers were unsure about the procedures involved in filing a case with the police. Thankfully, Fr. Roshan and the Ponnamallee Sacred Heart brothers came forward and assisted in obtaining the body. Initially, plans were made to send the body to Odisha, but after considering the wishes of the workers, arrangements were made for cremation in Sriperumbudur with the help of the local authorities. With the necessary permission from the local authority, the cremation was successfully carried out. The workers expressed their sincere gratitude for the assistance provided
