On 8^th of May 2023 DBMS had begun summer camp at Mettupalayam. Fr. Vincent inducted the camp and conveyed his wishes to the children for the active participation in the camp. Since being the first day, Children were wholly involved in playing games. There were more teamworkand group envelopment from all the children. On the next day children were engaged in learning Silambam. They were so excited and exposed their enthusiasm in learning Silambam. In the evening, they had drawing competition. Children sketched the pictures according to their age group. They drew the images in different topics like how nature has been ruined and some issues that are common in the village like alcohol. All the Children fully participated in it. After that, they did some group activities and played games.

On the third day,children had treasure hunt and cooking competitions. All of them were very much took part in both competitions. The treasure hunt game was the best moment for the children. This treasure hunt was held in around the village itself. They were so happy in finding out their treasure.After that, in the evening, they had cooking competition. They cooked many dishes and food items. The cooking completion got over at 6:30pm. To evaluate their preparation, three women from the village were called as judge. On the fourth day,children had camp fire. The camp fire started at 6pm and went on till 8pm. They liked very much in performing dance and drama during the camp fire. On the final day in the evening, children had many games and group activities. In the beginning, children had eye break session.Fr. Bosco,parents of the children and elders came for the programme.During the progrmae, childrenput up group dance and mime. Girls gave awonderful dance and boys performed beautiful mime ontraditional games(90’k kids)vs phone (20’k kids).Finally, they received the prizes and expressed their gratitude to the organizing group. Especially, they thanked Fr. Bosco the director of DBMS for having provided them gifts.
